ネパール洪水被災地より続報です。8月の洪水によって大きな被害を受けたサプタリ郡サカルプラという村で、浄水器と衛生キットの配布を行なっています。昨日は、JISPのモニタリングチームが、受益者の一人であるサンギータ・デヴィさん（21歳）のご家庭を訪問しました。サンギータさんは6人の家族がいる世帯の主婦で、JISPから受け取った浄水器を毎日使用しています。「浄水器を使用し始めてから、家族全員が下痢などの健康上の問題がなくなり、安心して水が飲めるようになった」と、JISPのスタッフに語ってくれました。

[Nepal : Emergency WASH Intervention for Saptari District, Nepal] Nepal Relief Project]
Sangita Devi, a 21 years old woman from Shakarapura Saptari district is one of the beneficiaries of JISP’s Nepal relief project .
She is a house wife and in charge of the chores of her 6 members’ household.
Recently, she began using the water filter provided by the relief team on a daily basis. She tells us that since her family began using filtered water, no member of the family has suffered from diarrhea, dysentery or any other health problem. They feel safe to drink water.
JISP maintains contact with its beneficiaries in order to monitor the impact of its relief project.
