[English Follows] YLP2016への参加が決まった、スジタ・ドンゴルをご紹介します。

スジタ・ドンゴルは、カトマンズサンクー出身の18歳です。
「村の子供達は、様々な理由から教育を受ける機会がありません。私は子供達を助けたいです。」
「私の計画は、教育やスキル習得のため、コミュニティのすべての若者を動機付けることです。」
スジタは、バレイボールとバスケットボールをし、また、いいダンサーでもあります。
震災で父親を亡くし、瓦礫に生き埋めになった兄弟は救助されました。
現在は、母親が経営するお茶屋さんを手伝っています。
私たちがスジタに、「このプログラムに期待していることは？」と聞くと、彼女は「不安にならずに、私の村のプログラムを先導していけるようになることを望んでいます。」と答えました。

E-meet Sujita Dongol, an 18 years old from Shankhu Kathmandu Nepal.
“Many children in my village don’t have access to education due to various reasons. I would like to help them.”

“My plan is to motivate all the young members of our community to acquire educations and skills.”

Sujita plays volleyball and basketball and is a good dancer. She lost her father in the earthquake. Her brother – who was buried under the rubble – was saved.

She is currently supporting her mother to run a tea shop.

We asked Sujita, “What is your expectation from this program?”. She answered, “I hope I would be able to lead programs in my village without being nervous about it.”
