7月16日に熊本県国際交流会館で第２回「コミュニティー災害リーダーシップ研修」を開催しました。
ミャンマー、パプアニューギニア、インドネシア、マレーシア、フィリピンなど様々な国から集まった熊本在住外国人の方々にご参加いただきました。
JISP臨床心理専門家のビゼイ・ギャワリ博士が、災害が精神にもたらす影響や自殺防止について話しました。
研修後、参加者のから「災害の影響を受けた地域だけでなく、その受けなかった地域でも
災害とメンタルヘルスについての研修をする方がいいのでは。」とのコメントをいただきました。

On July 16th, the Second training program of the “Community Disaster Leadership Training”, was held in Kumamoto International center. The participants were foreign residence from different countries such as Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. The Clinical Psychologist Dr. Bijay Gyawarli From JISP mainly talked about Disaster and Psychosocial issues as well as the suicide Prevention in Disaster setting. After the training one of the participants comment was “It is better to have those kind of program not only on disaster effected area but also non disaster effected area to educate the citizen about Disaster and mental health”.
