On 26th of June, we held a Nepalese cultural exchange event at Tomioka Support Centre, a temporary housing unit in Ofunato. Mr bijay, a psychologist and his wife, Ms Januka, introduced Nepalese food “Momo” a traditional chicken dumpling dish with special spiced sauce, and had an interactive dialogue with the people about Nepalese culture. We hope that these events are a fun time for the many people who still remain in the temporary housing and are an opportunity for people to come out and get to know each other better. We are very grateful to the staff that hosted us and the people that came out to learn new things.
